360° Outreach Project

The 360° Outreach Project was initially launched as a pilot trial in 2022, designed by South Glos Parent Carers, to work with schools to support parents in identifying, understanding, and meeting their child’s needs. Owing to its huge success and positive feedback, we have now restructured the project to enable us to work collaboratively in ALL the South Gloucestershire clusters, supporting as many families as possible.

Through building relationships with schools and families, our aim is to help bridge the gap between identifying a child’s needs at school and at home, with or without a diagnosis.

The 360° Outreach Project enables schools to take a 360° view of a child to raise awareness that earlier identification of needs ensures inclusion and access to learning for all children and young people. This is delivered in schools through informal support sessions, exclusive online workshops, presentations and information, all guided by our trained community support team who are experts in the field of SEND and effective signposting of services, support and strategies.
