Just when you have got into your stride and think you know where you are as a parent carer, your child reaches 16 years of age and you feel like you have fallen off a cliff edge into the unknown. This is what our community have told us of their experiences of the transition from child to adulthood that we strongly believe needs to be considered from age 14 onwards.

We want to make sure that members of our community have all the information they need to hand starting from year 8 when your child turns 12 years old.

Parent Carers who live in South Glos or make use of South Glos services (for example schools) can join our mailing list and receive a FREE electronic copy of this guide .
