South Glos Council moves from an ‘Inadequate’ rating to ‘Requires Improvement’.

You may recall in November 2017 the OFSTED Children’s Services report released found the local authority to have an overall rating in this area of inadequate.

We love sharing great news here South Glos Parent Carers HQ and we also know just how big an issue accessible toilets are for some of our community, and how much lives can be restricted by such a basic need.  Many of you have been penning letters and joining campaigns on the subject.

We were so excited when we found out that a Changing Places toilet was being installed at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, we had to be to the first to see it finished.

The receiving and giving of gifts is just one of the many enjoyable things about Christmas.  It can also be a time of year when we reflect and think about giving and supporting within our communities.  Combining the giving of gifts and the nice warm fuzzy feeling we get when supporting a charity can only be a win win situation.
