This survey is for those who currently make use of short break services
Ahh short breaks, conjurs images of a relaxing stay in European cities; Venice, Rome or maybe Amsterdam. Alas sadly, this is not the short breaks we are discussing today. South Glos parents and Carers are part of a working group that is reviewing the short breaks services that are available to families of children with additional needs.
We want to make sure that we represent the views of our community so that our voice is heard and that we as a community can particpate in the commissioning process. We want to know what you think about your experiences of the following who currently have contracts to provide services within South Glos:
Brandon Trust (formerly Playlink) Holiday Play schemes
Brandon Trust (formerly Playlink) Buddy Scheme
Kids (1 to 1 activities/support within the home or out of the home)
Kids (Youth Group ages 12 -18)
National Autistic Society Out of School Club social groups
National Autistic Society South Glos branch a range of activities for children and families
Sense Woodside Family Centre (Short Breaks for Disabled Children) a variety of activities including play schemes, family outings
SENSE Woodside Family Centre (Dual Sensory Impairment Service)
Special Friends Club (Short Breaks/activities for Disabled Children and their family )
Summer Outside Session (SOS)
