Making services across health, education and social care better for those with learning disabilities, autism and or both.
Ask Listen Do is an NHS project all about making it easier for people with a learning disability, autism or both to give feedback, raise a concern or complain about their care, education or support. It is also about making it easier for family, paid carers or advocates to do this for someone they support.
It is a great project to know about as we have heard so much recently in the news sad stories and experiences about what can happen when those with learning disabilities and other needs are not listened to. Here is an easy read leaflet that explains further and for more information for organisations and practitioners as well as for the service users themselves, their familiy and carers.
