On Changing Places Awareness Day SGPC are Delighted to learn of the 1000th CP Toilet Installed

Still a long way to go!

Today, July 19th is Changing Places awareness day, now we may be preaching to the converted. Many of our community are aware of the great work that Changing Places do to campaign for truly accessible toilets that meet the needs of those who need a decent amount of space, a changing bed and hoist and dignified facilities.

We are big fans of thier camapign as you may know from our blogs on how to find an accessible toilet, how SGPC were involved in the opening of a Changing Places Toilet in South Glos and how to plan your holiday journey toilet stops.  We are big fans because we know it is something that affects so many of you.

Why not help with the campaign by sharing one of our blogs or links to the Changing Places Campaign on Social Media pages to promote awareness today amongst those who aren't familiar with the struggles of finding dignified, clean and accessible toilet facilities once your child has grown past toddler size and can no longer fit on a baby changing table.  Let's spread the word so that those who provide services and public facilities consider more than just the basic legal requirements when installing a disabled loo.  Go on! Help raise awareness.
