Why support us?

There are various disability services in South Glos, but not many focus on the parent carers and carers of children and young people with additional needs.  We do.  We not only work with services to make the improvements that are needed, we offer the support that is needed too.   

We offer support groups,  a welcoming space for advice and support, an online support group and we visit schools. 

We have very limited funding to provide the support that we do.  We are always seeking other sources of funding to enable us to maintain what we offer and to be able to grow and change with our community’s needs. 

We have a big dream of reaching all families across South Gloucestershire who have children and young people with additional needs so that we can represent the whole community’s voice and offer the support they may need.  Can you help us build our dream?

How you can help

Get creative.  No amount raised is too small. 

There are many ways that you can help SGPC reach more SEND families and build our supportive community. No amount raised is too small, every penny matters when it comes to providing support for our community. 

Please consider organising or taking part in a fundraising event for us so we can raise much needed funds to help us continue to provide what we do for our community.  Every penny helps us to run our support groups, workshops, and open our Community Base.
