Parent Support (Pilot)

Do you find yourself getting overwhelmed trying to think of different ways to help your child?

Asking yourself so many questions but not having the necessary answers ?

Our new Parenting Support Service maybe the life line you need !

Our new telephone Parenting Support Service Pilot enables you to speak to one of our parent supporters about parenting a child with additional needs. This gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns you have regarding your child.

Our Parenting Support team will be there to help you talk through various issues and discuss possible strategies. Sometimes just talking to someone who understands can be a huge help.

“It was so helpful being able to talk to someone about some concerns I had re my son’s behaviour, thank you so much, I now have some useful tips to try that has helped me understand how to help my son” Parent Carer member

How to get help from our team ?

To access our team,  you have to be a member of South Glos Parents and Carers.  To be a member all you do is sign up to our main database here .

If you think this may be helpful why not book a free appointment!

Please click on the green tab below to register your interest.

The reason we are asking for information on our expressions of interest form is so we have a basic understanding of your family set up and where the child you have the concern about fits into the family, and the support you have around you. This will enable us to have some idea what we will be discussing on the phone.

Once you have registered your expressions of interest we will be in touch with what happens next by email.

We look forward to hearing from you
